美国环保署敲定首个全国性PFAS饮用水标准
PFOA与PFOS限值定为4纳克/升,树立全球参照,并撬动数十亿美元的处理市场。
The US Environmental Protection Agency finalized the first legally enforceable national drinking-water standards for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances in April 2024, setting maximum contaminant levels of 4 ng/L for PFOA and PFOS, with additional limits and a hazard-index approach covering PFHxS, PFNA, HFPO-DA (GenX) and PFBS mixtures.
Public water systems face monitoring obligations and treatment deadlines phased over the following years. The rule effectively creates one of the largest addressable markets in municipal treatment — granular activated carbon, ion exchange and high-pressure membranes — and set a benchmark regulators in other jurisdictions now cite.
WaterAtlas maintains a PFAS technology overview in the Wiki, and tracks suppliers of sorbents, resins and membranes in the directory.
